 Educational objectives:

This major cultivates students to master solid basic knowledge of Chinese,have high humanistic literacy, and possess professional knowledge and abilities in Chinese literature, Chinese culture, cross-cultural communication, and other fields.

Core Courses:

Modern Chinese, Ancient Chinese, Ancient Chinese Literature, Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature, Introduction to Chinese International Education, Teaching Methodology of Chinese as a Second Language, Introduction to Linguistics, and Chinese Writing.

Employment direction:

Students will engage in domestic and foreign cultural exchange work in primary and secondary schools, international schools, Confucius Institutes, news and publishing institutions, cultural management institutions, enterprises and institutions and so on.
